At D23 2026, Disney confirmed Piston Peak National Park — a Cars-themed land coming to Magic Kingdom that takes over the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island area of Frontierland. Two rides are confirmed. Here’s everything Disney shared.

A Big Change to Frontierland

Piston Peak lands on one of Magic Kingdom’s oldest spaces — the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island section of Frontierland — reworking it into the national-park setting from the Cars world. It’s a significant reshaping of that corner of the park.

Cars Ridge Run Rally

The headliner is an off-road rally race called Cars Ridge Run Rally, built around a brand-new ride vehicle with real suspension that reacts to the terrain underneath it. Disney described a route that climbs to a snowy summit, drops down a camelback hill, and finishes through a field of geysers.

Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along

The second ride is a family attraction, Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along, headlined by a school-bus-sized animatronic of Miss Fritter — the demolition-derby bus from Cars 3.

What’s Still Unknown

Disney hasn’t announced an opening date, and no height requirements have been published for either ride yet — so there’s nothing official to plan around for younger kids at this stage. As with everything revealed this early, details will keep shifting between now and opening, and we’ll update this piece as Disney confirms them.
