One of EPCOT's easiest, most family-friendly Halloween traditions is back: Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit returns for the 2026 season, with dates and pricing now announced. It's a self-guided scavenger hunt that sends you around the park tracking down decorative pumpkins, each themed to a different Disney character.
Dates & Price
The hunt runs September 25 through November 2, 2026 (or while supplies last), as a Halloween-specific addition inside the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which itself runs August 27 to November 21. A game board and stickers cost $11.99 plus tax — the same price as last year.
One note on the dates: these were just announced through Disney-news channels and aren't yet posted on Disney's own EPCOT page, so treat them as newly confirmed and double-check closer to your visit.
How It Works
Pick up your game board and sticker sheet at a participating shop — Creations Shop, Disney Traders, the festival merchandise kiosks, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler at the International Gateway. Then set off around the park to find the hidden character pumpkins, adding the matching sticker to your board with each discovery. The pumpkins are mostly clustered in the front of the park — World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery — with a few tucked into World Showcase.
Claiming Your Keepsake
Here's the best part: you don't have to find every pumpkin to win. Once you're done — completed board or not — bring it to Creations Shop, Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler to redeem a festival keepsake. Redemption runs through November 2, or until supplies run out.
A tip from past years: those keepsakes do run out, so if there's a specific prize you want, redeem it the same day you buy your board rather than waiting until the end of your trip.
Good to Know
- Guests can buy up to five game boards each, and each board earns one keepsake.
- It's included with regular park admission — no separate ticket needed (unlike Magic Kingdom's after-hours Halloween party).
- Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit runs alongside Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, the festival's other scavenger hunt, which covers World Showcase across the whole festival.
- The event debuted in 2022 and has returned every year since. As always, Disney notes dates, pricing, and prizes are subject to change.
It's a low-cost, all-ages way to bring some Halloween fun to EPCOT — and a nice complement to the bigger Halloween happenings over at Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs this season.
