Despite the listed hours, the shop in The Landing stayed behind its temporary hedges this morning, and Six Ravens confirmed on its own Instagram that the opening has been delayed.
The concept itself has been official since January: Gideon's founder Steve Lewis is taking over the former Art of Shaving storefront, a few doors from the bakery, with a menu built around "Coffyns" — hand pies made from house-made yeast rolls with savory fillings, a nod to the medieval term for the format. Disney's menu shows seven Coffyn varieties, plus potato sides with dips, dessert tarts, root beer on tap, and local beers. Like Gideon's, it won't participate in the Disney Dining Plan.
