October's cocktail is brand new for Food & Wine's 30th year, and it tastes exactly like the season you wish Florida had: the Frozen Apple Blossom at Festival Favorites in CommuniCore Hall.
What's in it
Apple cider, Seagram's Ginger Ale, and Hartley Apple VSOP Brandy, blended frozen and topped with mini marshmallows and a drizzle of maple syrup — $16.50. It's basically fall in a cup: crisp apple up front, warm brandy underneath, and just enough sweetness on top. Fair warning, it sits near the festival's price ceiling, so it's a treat pour, not a every-booth sipper.
Where to get it
Festival Favorites, inside CommuniCore Hall in World Celebration — which, bonus, is indoors and air-conditioned, a genuine perk on a still-warm October afternoon. The booth opened in early September and runs the rest of the festival.
Crisp apple, a little brandy warmth, marshmallows on top. The most autumn thing on property, served frozen in 85-degree sun.
Why this one for October
It's new this year, it's seasonal in a way almost nothing else in Florida manages, and it's only around until the festival wraps on November 21 — so October is the month to catch it. Make it the anchor of a drinking-around-the-world lap and build out from there.
Your festival lap, anchored — the pour and where it sits.
It's one stop on the Food & Wine Bar Crawl in Starlit Magic. The app maps all 10 bar crawls, each with its full stop-by-stop lineup and a walking order, so you taste your way around World Showcase without ever doubling back.

Fall in a cup, before it melts away on November 21. Cheers.
