Hidden Mickey of the Month — August 2026: Living with the Land

This month's Hidden Mickey lives on Living with the Land, the slow, gentle boat ride inside The Land pavilion at EPCOT — which, handily for August, is also one of the coolest, longest, most air-conditioned rides in the park. We're giving you three finds this month: the famous one, and two you can spot every single time.

The famous one — the greenhouse silhouette

• Stand: Stay with the boat into the greenhouse section, at the large plant and lettuce growing tables.
• Look: Down at the growing beds as you drift past.
• Spot: Different-colored lettuce and plant varieties are planted to form a giant classic-Mickey silhouette. It's the most famous Living with the Land Mickey there is.

One honest heads-up: this one depends on the growth stage of the plants, so it isn't guaranteed on every ride. Which is exactly why we're also giving you a guaranteed one.

The one you can always find — the vine frame

Along the right side of your boat in the greenhouse, look for a large classic-Mickey-shaped wire frame standing upright (sometimes covered in vines). It's a permanent structure — it's reliably there every ride, growth stage or not. If you want a Mickey you can promise the kids you'll find, this is the one.

The legendary lettuce Mickey is the one everyone talks about — but the vine frame is the one you can actually point to on demand. Bring both to the boat.

Bonus — the test-tube holder

Near the end, in the Biotechnology Lab room, look to your right at the large circular test-tube holder: the green stoppers in the center form a classic Mickey. It's a fun one to catch after the greenhouse, and it rewards paying attention all the way to the finish.
