October's Hidden Mickey is one you've almost certainly walked right over: the pavement in front of the Chinese Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The hunt
Stand in the open courtyard in front of the Chinese Theater (home to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway). Look down at the ground, not up. Spot the two large black circles set into the pavement — those are Mickey's eyes.
The story behind it
When the park opened in 1989, its entire layout — pathways, buildings, and landscaping — was designed to form Mickey's whole face, visible only from the air. Decades of expansion and construction erased most of it. But those two circles of dark pavement in front of the theater survived, and they're the eyes of that original giant Mickey, still staring up at the sky.
A giant Mickey you could only ever see from a plane, mostly paved over now — except for his eyes, right under your feet.
Why this one for October
No ride, no line, no height requirement — just a bit of park history hiding in plain sight. It's the easiest Hidden Mickey on property to "find," and one of the few that's really a story about how the whole park was once laid out.
One found — stand, look down, spot.
It's one of hundreds of Hidden Mickeys mapped in Starlit Magic, each with the same clear Stand, Look, and Spot directions and a location pin, so you can turn any walk across property into a hunt.

Next time you're at the Chinese Theater, look down. He's been watching the sky since 1989. 👀
